Design Brief

Project Goal: A versatile hunting accessory inspired by the deer's natural environment and featuring dual calling surfaces for mimicking different deer vocalizations. Prioritize adjustability, durability, and user-friendliness, ensuring hunters can fine-tune tone and volume for various situations with intuitive controls. Incorporate aesthetic elements inspired by a deer skull. Maintaining cost-effectiveness within established budgets and timelines was very important for us.

Deer Skull Inspired Grunt Call

The Primos Two-Faced Grunt Call is designed for deer hunters. Its dual-sided design allows for the accurate imitation of a range of deer vocalizations, from deep grunts to gentle bleats and fawn distress sounds. Hunters can adjust both the tone and volume of the calls, tailoring their approach to match the season and deer behavior. This is particularly effective during the rutting season when mimicking buck vocalizations can attract does and other deer, bringing them within shooting range.

3D CAD Design

The Primos Two-Faced Grunt Call, crafted with SolidWorks, embodies a precision-engineered hunting tool. The dual calling surfaces, inspired by the symmetry of a deer skull, seamlessly blend functionality and aesthetics. This design showcases user-adjustable features for tone and volume control, enhancing the call's adaptability to different hunting scenarios. Its ergonomic form factor ensures user-friendliness, while the incorporation of rugged, weather-resistant materials guarantees durability in harsh outdoor environments.

Final Production Model

Upon completing the entire design process, including 3D drawings, prototyping, and receiving the client's final approval, we move forward to the crucial phase of creating the Final Production Model. This stage involves collaborating with carefully selected manufacturers who possess the expertise and precision needed for tooling. The choice of manufacturer is pivotal, as they employ high-quality tools and advanced techniques to ensure the production process meets the highest standards.
